Hailing from the United Arab Emirates, Zeid studied abroad in The United Kingdom and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management from the University of Nottingham as well as a Master’s Degree in Logistics Trade and Finance from the Cass Business School.

Zeid worked in many diverse roles and positions before founding Palmear. He was a Junior Design Engineer at the Bühler Group, a Managing Director at Sultan Fresh Fruits Company (SUFFCO), a Project Manager at Hilal Bricks, a Board Member at Sinokrot Group, a Partner at Advanced Security Business Group, and finally the Founder and CEO of Palmear in the year 2019.
Zeid was faced with a challenge. He says – “Around 14 years ago, I helped my father develop a date palm plantation in Jericho, where I saw the problem first-hand. Farmers would use doctors’ stethoscopes to try to understand where the pests were and I thought, We can elevate this.”
